About Me

In addition to her ten years in private practice, Sarah is an experienced teacher, writer, and editor in the field of Chinese medicine. She is currently on the faculty of the Chinese Herbology Certificate Program at Tri-State College of Acupuncture and has taught the integrative gynecology course for master's degree students at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She has served on the advisory board of Easy Eats, a health and wellness magazine and spent four years as an editor for The American Acupuncturist, an academic journal. Other past professional activities include a term on the board of the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY), the state professional organization for acupuncture, and providing acupuncture services for labor and delivery patients at Lutheran Medical Center, as part of an ongoing research study. She lectures publicly on a variety of topics, including keeping healthy with Chinese medicine, qi gong, and acupressure for infants.
