Scottsdale Medical Acupuncture provides compassionate, personalized care for patients with chronic pain, neuropathy, women’s health concerns, digestive disorders, sports injuries, fibromyalgia, and other complex or difficult-to-treat conditions. The practice begins with listening to each patient’s health history and concerns, then develops an individualized treatment plan that may combine acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and other evidence-informed integrative therapies to support lasting relief and help patients return to the activities they value.
Founded by Dr. Mia Summers, DAcCHM, L.Ac., the practice reflects her background in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and collaborative clinical experience with Western medicine practitioners. Before entering clinical practice, Dr. Summers worked as a research chemist in natural-product pharmaceutical drug discovery, and her scientific background informs her integrative approach to patient care.
