About Me

Margarita Alcantara, M.Ac., L.Ac., is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the states of AZ, NY, NJ, and CT, Reiki Master Teacher, and author of Chakra Healing. After many years in private practice in New York City’s Flatiron District, she relocated Alcantara Acupuncture & Healing Arts to Sedona, Arizona.

Margarita offers an integrative approach to acupuncture that addresses the whole person - physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual. Her work supports patients experiencing stress, pain, emotional imbalances, energetic blocks, life transitions, and a desire to reconnect more deeply with their bodies and inner wisdom. Sessions may incorporate acupuncture, Reiki, chakra balancing, nutritional and lifestyle guidance, tuning forks, essential oils, and other energy healing techniques according to each patient’s individual needs.

Practicing since 2009, Margarita is known for creating deeply restorative and transformative treatments that help patients regulate their nervous systems, restore energetic balance, and move through what may be blocking their health and well-being. Her intention is not simply to address symptoms, but to transform things at the root, helping each person return to greater alignment, vitality, and wholeness.
