Kate Henderson is a New York State licensed acupuncturist who trained at Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City, where she earned a masters of science in acupuncture. She draws on a range of acupuncture styles in her practice, including Japanese meridian therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and Trigger Point Therapy. Outside of her clinical practice, Kate serves on the faculty of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, teaching beginning acupuncture students clinical skills and Chinese medical examination methods.
Kate has worked extensively in orthopedic settings coordinating with physicians to provide treatment plans for traumatic injuries and chronic pain, and in her private practice focused on endocrine issues, sleep and mood disorders, and women's health. Kate also provides community acupuncture one day weekly for the uninsured, focusing on artists and creatives and their unique issues related to creative problem solving.
