Dr. Joseph DeStefano, DACM, LAc, has been helping patients throughout Southern California achieve greater comfort, balance, and well-being through Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2008. At Yorba Hills Acupuncture & Herbs, Dr. DeStefano provides individualized care that combines acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and Tui Na manual therapy to address each patient’s unique needs and health goals. His practice focuses on integrative pain management and oncology support, working alongside patients and their Western medical providers to help manage pain, neurological symptoms, and other side effects associated with chemotherapy and radiation therapy. He also treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and common health concerns, with an emphasis on helping patients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their care. Dr. DeStefano is a California Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist, a Diplomate in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, and a licensed Doctor of Acupuncture in the State of Rhode Island. In addition to his private practice, he serves as a clinical supervisor at Yo San University’s teaching clinic and as an adjunct faculty member at Yo San University and Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier. Through both his clinical and teaching work, Dr. DeStefano is dedicated to making Traditional Chinese Medicine an accessible and meaningful part of comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare.
