During your first visit a thorough, detailed evaluation of your symptoms, past medical and family history, general body systems and lifestyle habits will be completed. A diagnosis will be made, you will receive your first treatment and we will discuss your individualized plan of care. A combination of techniques and strategies from conventional medicine and East Asian medicine will be utilized. Your sessions will include education in self care and may include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, occupational therapy, application of modalities such as heat, ice, electrical stimulation, low-level laser therapy, massage, therapeutic exercise, lifestyle counseling and instruction in stress management.
