At Elemental Acupuncture, we utilize ancient wisdom for modern times.Dr. Bethany M. Leddy, New York State Licensed Acupuncturist, graduated from Southwest
Acupuncture College in 2002, with a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine. She
continued her education with an externship at Longmont Hospital in Oncology (2002),
Golden West rehabilitation in Geriatrics (2001), and had the distinguished honor of being
the Chief fellow of Integrated Medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital Manhattan (2006). She
completed her Doctoral degree in Oriental Medicine at American College of Traditional
Chinese Medicine in 2020. Bethany has maintained a private acupuncture practice in
Manhattan since 2002 and recently opened a second office in Tuckahoe, NY in 2020. Bethany also holds a Bachelor of Arts In Philosophy from St. Mary’s College of Maryland specializing in ancient
Chinese philosophy and studied Buddhism at the Master’s level at Naropa University. For 24 years I Bethany has specialized in holistic and integrative medicine for women's health including fertility, pregnancy, post- partum and menopause. She also has a specialization in orthopedics and pain management utilizing the trigger point therapy technique to provide quick and lasting pain relief. She utilizes all the many modalities of Chinese medicine to provide my patients with balance and alleviate their symptoms.
